Bu prestijli \u00f6d\u00fcl\u00fc, bu y\u0131l, Fiat Panda ve Fiat 500L modellerinde bulunan \u201c\u015eehiri\u00e7i Fren Kontrol Sistemi\u201d ile Fiat kazand\u0131. S\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fclere \u015fehiri\u00e7i trafi\u011finde destek sa\u011flamak amac\u0131yla tasarlanan \u015eehiri\u00e7i Fren Kontrol Sistemi, 5 ila 30 kilometre s\u00fcrat aral\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, ara\u00e7ta s\u00fcrekli devrede oluyor. Motorun \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 andan itibaren devreye giren sistem, s\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fcn iste\u011fine ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak devre d\u0131\u015f\u0131 b\u0131rak\u0131labiliyor. Sistem, ESC (Elektronik Denge Kontrol\u00fc) sistemine aray\u00fcz olu\u015fturmak amac\u0131yla, \u00f6n cam\u0131n \u00fcst k\u0131sm\u0131nda bulunan LIDAR (I\u015f\u0131k Tespiti ve Mesafe Belirleme) tipi bir lazer sens\u00f6r kullan\u0131yor. Yol y\u00fczey ko\u015fullar\u0131, ara\u00e7 dinamikleri ve y\u00f6r\u00fcngeler, engellerin konumu ve lastiklerin durumu gibi belli parametrelere ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan sistem, otomatik olarak devreye girerek \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fmay\u0131 tamamen \u00f6nleyebiliyor veya \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fman\u0131n etkilerini azaltabiliyor. Bu geli\u015fmi\u015f sistem, ara\u00e7ta Otomatik Acil Durum Frenleme (AEB), Freni \u00d6nceden Doldurma ve Fren Destek fonksiyonlar\u0131n\u0131 entegre ederek \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yor. AEB, normal \u015fartlarda s\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fcn tercihlerine uygun hareket ederken, di\u011fer yandan \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fman\u0131n ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmaz oldu\u011fu ve s\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fcn herhangi bir m\u00fcdahalede bulunmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 durumlarda acil frenlemeyi devreye sokuyor. \u201cFreni \u00d6nceden Doldurma\u201d fonksiyonu ise hem acil durumda Otomatik Frenleme Sistemi devreye girdi\u011finde, hem de s\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc fren yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131nda daha h\u0131zl\u0131 tepki sa\u011flamak i\u00e7in \u00f6nceden fren sistemini dolduruyor. Fren Deste\u011fi de acil durumlar\u0131 tespit ediyor ve \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fman\u0131n ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmaz oldu\u011fu durumda, hidrolik fren deste\u011fi fonksiyonunu daha hassas hale getiriyor.
