Hilux\u2019\u0131n g\u00fc\u00e7 \u00fcnitesi, yakla\u015f\u0131k 10 y\u0131ld\u0131r ticari olarak \u00fcretilen ve kendisini kan\u0131tlam\u0131\u015f olan Toyota Mirai\u2019nin yak\u0131t h\u00fccresini temel al\u0131yor. Yak\u0131t h\u00fccresi taraf\u0131ndan \u00fcretilen elektrik ise hibrit bataryada depolan\u0131yor ve batarya kabin alan\u0131n\u0131 etkilememesi ad\u0131na arka y\u00fckleme alan\u0131nda konumland\u0131r\u0131l\u0131yor. 2022 y\u0131l\u0131nda ba\u015flanan projede ilk ara\u00e7 be\u015f hafta \u00f6nce tamamland\u0131 ve ilk 10 Hilux\u2019\u0131n bu y\u0131l\u0131n sonuna kadar \u00fcretilmesi planlan\u0131yor. Bu prototip ara\u00e7lar, bir \u00fcretim modelinin y\u00fcksek standartlar\u0131n\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131layabilecek \u015fekilde kapsaml\u0131 g\u00fcvenlik, dinamik performans, fonksiyonellik ve sa\u011flaml\u0131k testinden ge\u00e7irilecek. Bu testlerle birlikte Toyota\u2019n\u0131n i\u00e7erisinde bulundu\u011fu konsorsiyum yak\u0131t h\u00fccreli ara\u00e7lar\u0131n ve hidrojen sistemlerinin daha farkl\u0131 alanlarda kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 i\u00e7in ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrecek.
